Franklin de costa -Beat the bump

Immigrant Records are on great form this year and their next release, Franklin De Costa's "Beat the Bump" EP, is another nice addition to this list. "Beat The Bump" is a minimal but infectious track with and intense bassline, cut up vocals and off-kilter synth action. It sounds a bit mangled initially but somehow holds it all together to create a totally funky track. If this wasn't mental enough, Franco Cinelli drops a remix which pushes the boundary even further, cutting it up even further. It's not for everyone but would fry your brain in the right circumstances. "Outside" is altogether more mellow and more straight-up groovy minimal house with a very old-school Green Velvet style to it.
